The Essence of Spirituality classes explore the universal principles that help people live with clarity, compassion, and purpose. Each class offers a variety of subjects drawn from the wisdom of great teachers around the world, guiding students to understand how spiritual values can be applied in everyday life.
These lessons focus on inner growth, mindful awareness, unity among all people, and the gentle practices that strengthen character and uplift communities. Through reflection, study, and shared learning, students discover the simple truths that connect humanity and form the foundation of a meaningful spiritual life.

Essence of Spirituality classes are offered weekly on Sunday and Monday evenings at 6:00 PM (Central Time) via Zoom.
Recognized as Chicago’s leading platform for uniquely designed classes in Metaphysical and Spiritual understanding, Essence provides a dynamic learning environment where each week features a new topic to support spiritual growth and awareness.
These classes are taught by Mahala D. Bacon, Th.D., an International Spiritual Intuitive and respected metaphysical teacher. Mahala is a leader in teaching spiritual concepts that can be applied to daily living with clarity, purpose, and integrity.
Her classes, seminars, and workshops are each crafted with their own unique facets to facilitate Spiritual Growth, Discipline, Unfoldment, and Enlightenment. Every session is designed to open the mind, strengthen intuitive understanding, and support the student’s personal spiritual journey.
